MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team lost their first game of the season as they hosted the University of Jamestown in a Great Plains Athletic Conference opener Tuesday night at the Corn Palace.

 Set scores were 22-25, 24-26, 25-18, 15-25.

In the opening set, the Tigers (9-1, 0-1 GPAC) took an early 3-0 lead following a kill by Rebecca Frick (Yankton, S.D.) The Jimmies (7-1, 1-0 GPAC) hung around for the whole set until taking their first lead at 15-14, eventually winning the set.
