Bellevue, Neb. – RV Dakota Wesleyan volleyball splits day one at the Labor Day Classic. The Tigers dropped their first set of the season before dropping their first match of the season.

Game One
- Dakota Wesleyan volleyball dropped their first set of the season against Hope International, 25-21 in the first set of the Labor Day classic
- The Tigers responded closing, out the game 25-14 in the second set, 25-13 in the third set, and 25-18 in the fourth
- DWU tallied their best hitting percentage of the game in the second set when they hit .371
- As a team, Dakota Wesleyan tallied 51 kills, ten serve aces, 88 digs, and 24 blocks in the match
- Ady Dwight led the Tigers in kills with 17 in the match, with a hitting percentage of .516
- Dwight topped the leader board with seven blocks in the game as Mariah Gloe collected six blocks
- Hanna Reiff recorded 26 digs and two service aces
Game Two
- The Tigers saw their first five-set match of the season as they fall to No. 11 Central Methodist
- DWU tallied hit their best in the third set with .323 percent
- Dakota Wesleyan was outhit by CMU .258 percent to .309 percent
- The Tigers tallied 62 kills led by Dwight with 19
- DWU recorded a game low ten blocks against the Eagles
- Reiff led the defensive effort in digs, notching 29 of the team 65 total digs
