HOW IT HAPPENED
• The Tigers jumped ahead early and keeping it for a big first-set win of 25-18.
• DWU in the second set hit .319 percent while allowing the Comets to hit .167 percent to secure the set two win, going up 2-0 in the match.
• Dakota Wesleyan hit their best in the third set of the match with a .359 percent as they held Mayville to hitting .024 percent.
• Several big runs in the second and third set helped to push the Tigers past the Comets in a match that was just over an hour long.
• DWU tallied 51 kills with a hitting percentage of .301 percent while recording seven total blocks and two service aces.
• Ady Dwight and Mackenzie Miller led the team with 16 and 13 kills, respectively.
• As a team, the Tigers notched a three-set season-high in digs with 82, Hanna Reiff led that effort with 34 digs of her own.
• Dwight and Miller were both credited with three block assists, and Abigail Brunsing earned the lone solo block of the night.
