HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Tigers got off to a quick start against the Saints, going up 6-1 before a regrouping timeout by PC.
- After a few back-and-forth rallies that brought Presentation within four, Dakota Wesleyan shut the door and grabbed the first set win, 25-16.
- Neither the Tigers nor Saints hit above .200 in the second set, as the game saw three set-point opportunities before DWU grabbed the 28-26 win and the 2-0 match lead.
- The final set of the match ran a similar story, except both teams hit above .300.
- The Tigers hit .318 and the Saints hit .304 percent, respectively.
- Dakota Wesleyan began to take control of the match with an 18-14 lead before Presentation put together a seven-to-three-point run tying the set at 21-21.
- Following the 21-21 tie, the set saw four more ties.
- Mariah Gloe grabbed a kill putting the Tigers up by one and the serve back into the hands of Dannielle Burns.
