- Dakota Wesleyan kept the first set close and even grabbed a 15-14 lead on a Mackenzie Miller kill.
- The momentum quickly shifted after a 16-16 tie as the Tigers recorded back-to-back hitting errors.
- DWU could not get back into the match as they dropped set one, 25-21.
- Dakota Wesleyan could not keep up with the attack from the Warriors, as they fell behind 10-17.
- DWU notched three more points in the second set before falling 25-13 and going down 0-2 in the match.
- Hitting errors plagued the Tigers in the third set, only recording nine points and three kills.
