High School: A 2024 graduate of Platte-Geddes High School, VanDerWerff comes to DWU as a middle for the volleyball team ... a two-sport athlete in basketball and volleyball earning 11 varsity letters ... through her junior year had 1,906 kills, 1569 digs, 243 aces, and 107 blocks ... earned All-Conference honors in volleyball in the 2019-2022 seasons and All-State 1st team as a sophomore, 2nd Team All-State her junior year, All-Tourney team her sophomore and junior years ... led her club team to a 5th place with at the National Club Tournament in Florida ... a member of National Honor Society and earned two All-State academic awards \
