General: Enters her first team with the DWU women’s cross country team, comes to DWU after running for Howard High School.

High School: Competed in cross country, basketball and track and field for the Howard Tigers … qualified for state cross country and track … ran a best time of 2:32 in the 800-meter run at the 2016 State Track Meet … was a 2015 Girls State Delegate … a member of the honor roll.

Personal: Born July 24, 1998 … daughter of David and Melissa Claussen … plans to major in nursing.
