General: Heisinger begins her cross country and track and field career with the Tigers in the upcoming school year … she comes to DWU from Parkston High School.
High School: She competed cross country and track and field for the Trojans throughout high school … had a best time of 15:25 in the 4k race and 21:23 in the 5k … placed 18th and 29th at state cross country … in track had a best time of 5:45 in the 1,600-meter run and 2:42 in the 800-meter run … nominated by her team as the MVP of the cross country team and was given the coach’s award and team leader … in addition to her running success for the Parkston Trojans she also competed in high school rodeo … was a member of the National Honor Society.
