General: Johnson joins the Tiger track and field team from Huron, S.D. for her freshman season … Johnson has competed in track and field and tennis for the Huron Tigers.

High School: Johnson capped off her high-school career with a best time of 1:02 in the 400-meter dash and a 2:38 in the 800-meter run … was the team captain for the Tiger tennis team for three seasons and was part of the team that won the Sportsmanship Award at state tennis … also named to the Academic All-State.

Personal: Born Jan. 16, 1998 … daughter of Cynthia Johnson … plans to major in sports, exercise and wellness with a minor in business.
