Cross country competes at Mount Marty Invitational

YANKTON, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams participated in the Mount Marty Invite at Fox Run Golf Course Saturday in Yankton, S.D.

 The women's team was led by Samantha Schuyler (Winner, S.D.) as she finished 24^th with a time of 19:51 minutes and Kelsie King (Mission Viejo, Calif.) finished right behind her in 27^th place with a time of 19:54. Mckenna Rogers (Saint Michael, Minn.) tallied a 50th-place finish with a time of 20:24. Freshman Delanie Larson (Gettysburg, S.D.) placed 84^th with a time of 21:47 and Savannah Schmidt (Plankinton, S.D.) finished 96^th with a time of 22:35.

 On the men's side, Brendan Langbehn (Worthing, S.D.) placed 64^th with a time of 28:17 and Bryce Blank (Rapid City, S.D.) finished in 83^rd place in 29:10.

 The cross country teams will be back in action at the GPAC Championships on Nov.3 in North Bend, Neb.
