General: Harmening joins the DWU track team from Jackson, Minn. with experience in jumping and hurdles. He played for the Tiger basketball team for the previous three seasons

General: Will be looked upon to help lead the Tigers in his senior season.

Junior (2016-17): Recorded 26 top-10 finishes … best finish came at the DWU Alumni Open in the triple jump as he took third with a leap of 41-0.5 feet.

High School: Harmening participated in the triple jump, 4x200-meter dash and hurdles for Jackson County Central High School … he took second in the triple jump and first in hurdles at the True Team State Meet … was a three-year letter winner in track and started on the basketball team for four years … was ‘A’ and ‘B’ Honor student four years.

Personal: Born Aug. 3, 1995 … son of Brett and Bette Harmening … a business management major.
