Two Tigers qualify for NAIA National Meet
HASTINGS, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s and women’s track and field teams had an impressive outing at the Hastings Bronco Invite as two athletes qualified for the NAIA Outdoor National Championships, one school record was broken and 12 personal records were set Friday in Hastings, Neb.

In the high jump, Jared Rabenberg (Britton, S.D.) took first place in the high jump with a leap of 6-7.5 feet, qualifying for the national meet. He also tallied a fifth-place finish in the long jump with a jump of 21-5.5.
Matthew Campbell (Gregory, S.D.) qualified for the national meet in the discus after a toss of 157-05, good for fifth. He also set a personal best in the hammer throw taking ninth place with a mark of 146-02, while also setting another personal record in the shot put at 47-9 feet, good for seventh.
Morgan Taft (Norris, S.D.) set a school record in the hammer throw with a mark of 136-08, taking home an eighth-place finish. In the women's long jump, Lindsey Hale (Yankton, S.D.) finished in third place with a leap of 17-8.75. The finish by Hale was also a third-best mark in program history.
Mikaela Stofferahn (Dell Rapids, S.D.) set personal best marks in the discus, hammer throw and shot put. In the shot put, she took fourth with a throw of 41-6.5, while finishing in fourth in the discus after a toss of 137-02. Stofferahn also finished in 12th place in the hammer throw with a mark of 117-11.
The Tigers compete next at the Dordt Invite on April 7 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
