Bio

General: Following her first season with the Tigers, Mathews hopes to continue her production and leadership on the court.
 
Junior (2017-18): Played in 38 games and averaged 3.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game ... shot 38.6 percent from 3-point range ... scored a career-high 13 points against Indiana University East in the first round of the NAIA National Tournament.
 
High School: Finished her senior season at Jones County High School averaging 20.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game, while shooting 48 percent from the field and scoring 537 points ... finished her career with 1,612 points, 477 rebounds, 392 assists and 288 steals ... led her team to a 22-4 record her senior year ... a four-time conference champion and a three-time Southern Plains champion ... was a two-time district champion and a region champion once ... earned conference MVP three times and was a two-time All-State Second-Team selection ... named Southern Plains MVP three times and South Dakota State All-Tournament Team once ... holds the record for Jones County in career points per game, points, steals and assists ... a four-time National Honor Society member and the salutatorian of her class ... also a four-year starter in cheerleading and volleyball.
