Bio
Coach Sadler joins the DWU Tigers in 2024.
Michael spent 7 years as a strength and conditioning coach in Professional Baseball (6 with the Seattle Mariners and 1 with the Cincinnati Reds) before taking the Director job here at DWU. Before his time in baseball, Michael completed internships at the University of South Carolina and at Cressey Sports Performance in Jupiter, FL where he was exposed to athletes to all sports.
Michael completed his bachelor's degree in Exercise Wellness from Mount Marty University in 2017. During his undergrad, Michael played 4 years of baseball, which sparked his interest in working at the professional level. In 2022, Michael achieved a master's degree online in Human Performance and Exercise Science from American Military University.
Michael and his wife (Corie) live in Mitchell with two kids. Their daughter (Kalani) is 2 ½ years old, and they have a son (Kal) who is 8 months old. Michael’s professional certifications include CSCS, RSCC, USAW Level 1, FRC Level 1&2, OnBaseU Level 1, and PRI.
