DWU baseball upcoming schedule changes
MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team has multiple schedule changes upcoming for the next week with three doubleheaders set to take place at Drake Field in Mitchell, S.D.
MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team has multiple schedule changes upcoming for the next week with three doubleheaders set to take place at Drake Field in Mitchell, S.D.
On Sunday, DWU hosts University of Jamestown in a Great Plains Athletic Conference doubleheader. The games are set to begin at noon with the second game to follow.
The Tigers play host to the Jimmies again on Monday at 1 and 3 p.m. The Monday doubleheader was originally scheduled for tomorrow, but with impending weather the games were changed to Monday.
Although the games are played in Mitchell, Jamestown will be the home team on the scoreboard for both doubleheaders since they were originally scheduled to be played in Jamestown, N.D.
The final schedule change for the baseball team for next week is a non-conference doubleheader against Mayville State University. The games were set to be played in Mayville, N.D., on Tuesday. However, the games have been moved to Mitchell with the first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. on Tuesday with the second game to follow.
