General: Schmidt enters his fourth year with DWU and will be looked at as a leader in the defensive backfield.

Redshirt Sophomore (2019): Notched 16 total tackles and eight solo tackles in nine games played ... finished the season with a tackle for loss ... tallied four pass deflections on the year ... recorded his best game against Jamestown with three tackles.

Redshirt Freshman (2018): Played in seven games ... recorded five total tackles and three solo tackles.

Freshman (2017): Redshirted.

High School: He recorded 108 tackles and 10 interceptions on defense and rushed for 1,471 yards, passed for 1,942 yards and scored 54 total touchdowns ... was a three-time Cornbelt All-Conference member, an All-State Honorable Mention quarterback, a Team MVP and a Defensive MVP ... an Honor Roll member throughout high school ... a member of National Honor Society ... also a member of the Titans basketball and track teams for six years.

DWU finishes the season with an overall record of 4-5 as Saturday’s matchup concluded the 2020 campaign.
