DWU men’s basketball picked second in GPAC preseason poll
MITCHELL, S.D. – Coming off a trip to the NAIA National Tournament last season in Point Lookout, Mo., the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s basketball team was picked second in the GPAC preseason poll, it was announced by the conference on Thursday.

DWU tallied 73 total points and two first-place votes, while Northwestern College was tabbed the preseason favorite with 78 total points and seven first-place votes. Rounding out the top-5 were Briar Cliff University in third, Morningside College in fourth and Midland University in fifth.
The Tigers open the 2017-18 season against Sisseton Wahpeton College at 8 p.m. on Oct. 27 at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
