High School: Participated in four sports for the Bulldogs of De Smet High School ... earned the start for three years on the track team, six years on the golf squad and four years for football and basketball ... on the court, he scored 1,161 points, dished out 460 assists and grabbed 300 boards ... helped his team to back-to-back state tournament apperances in 2021 and 2022 ... named to the LCC All-Conference list from 2019 to 2022 ... earned a Class “B” All-State Second-Team honor in 2021 and followed that up with a Class “B” All-State First-Team and All-Tournament Team recognition in 2022 ... in the classroom, Osthus made National Honor Society and was selected to the Academic All-State list.
