The Dakota Wesleyan University men's soccer program is set to conclude the 2021 regular season with a pair of road matches starting first against University of Jamestown at 7:30 p.m.on Wednesday from Jimmie Turf Field in Jamestown, N.D.
About the Tigers
- Dakota Wesleyan, fighting for a spot in the Great Plains Athletic Conference postseason, enters Wednesday's match with 63 shots on goal this season.
- Junior left back Rafael Calderon continues to spark the Tiger offense with seven goals on 29 shot attempts. The Talca, Chile, native has two multi-goal performances this season and secured a season-high seven shot attempts earlier this season versus Presentation College.
- Led by Calderon, six different DWU attackers have found the back of the net as Grant Pierce, Jabari Campbell and Cesar Requena each have two goals on the season.
- Three different Tigers have appeared in all 16 contests this year including senior midfielders Rocky Guevara and Pierce.
About the Jimmies
- The Jimmies maintain a 6-7-2 overall record accompanied by a 4-4-1 mark in conference action under first-year head coach Connor Campbell.
- Senior goalkeeper Alex Hamer continues to direct the Jimmie defensive back line with 48 saves on the season and a 6-6 record in the net.
- On the attack, Aaron Pike and Diego Valle have fueled the UJ offense with seven goals each on a combined 35 shots on goal.

- After a pair of one-goal matches a year ago, both programs will meet for the 14th time in recent history.
