Tigers compete in conference race; Panec on to nationals

Junior runner Jeremiah Panec (Kenesaw, Neb.) qualified for the national meet, bringing home a fifth-place finish with a time of 25:32. Panec will compete in the NAIA Championships on Nov. 19 in Charlotte, N.C.
Lane Tibbs (Kenesaw, Neb.) finished in the top-20 for the Tigers, while freshmen Rex Schlicht (Woonsocket, S.D.) and Ryan Chase (Huron, S.D.) finished in 56th and 61st-place, respectively.
For the DWU women cross country team, freshman McKenna Rogers (St. Michael, Minn.) crossed the line in 19:46, good for 43rd-place. Shailhyn Schweigert (Burke, S.D.) and Kelsie King (Mission Viejo, Calif.) finished in 52nd and 53rd-place respectively, just half a second apart, while Macey Claussen (Howard, S.D.) added a top-75 finish.
