
Niobrara, Neb. – The Tigers wonen's golf team had a strong meet at the Mount Marty Fall Invite as they led their competition on both days in first. Their final score was 687. Although there were strong wind conditions it did not slow down the women Tigers as all five placed in the top 8 overalll against their competitiors.
Individual Performance:
-Ashton Austreim led the course with a dominating performance, finishing in 1st place with a total score of 160, which equals a +16 over par.
- Allison Meyerink wasnt too far behind her as she secured 3rd place with a total score of 170 (+26), showcasing her ongoing consistentcy performance throughout the meet.
- Sara Sudenga also had a solid showing, placing 5th with the score of a collective 176.
- Kaylee Johnson and Dakotah Larson both scored 187 (+43), placing 7th and 8th, respectively, showcasing the depth of talent within the team.
Coach Meyerink reflected on the challenging conditions faced on the first day, sharing, "It was a battle all day long," highlighting the adveristy the Tigers had to face on the first day, but still stepping up to the challenge.
