Battle At the Dance Recap: Women's Golf Fall Season Ends in Dominant Fashion
Windsor, Colo. – The Tigers women's golf team finished their fall season at the Raindance National golf course to compete in the Battle At the Dance on October 16. An annnual golf tournament that is known amongst golf fans. Finsihing in 2nd place overall amongst 9 other schools. Notably, the women Tigers outperformed multiple GPAC schools such as Doane, Briar Cliff, Dordt, Mount Marty, Hastings, and Midland on the big stage. 
 
Individual Highlights:
- Allison Meyerink not only led the Tigers again this week, but also the competition with an 156 performance. Meyerink scored a 81 on the first day and locked in on day two scoring 75.
- Ashton Austreim didn't trail far behind tying 10th place, posting scores of 84 and 82 for a combined total of 166. Finding consistency and playing her own game of golf allowing her to find similar scored on both days, 84 and 82.
- Sara Sudenga and Kaylee Johnson both scored a combined total of 169 on the course. Securing a grouping tie for 15th. Not too far behind Austreim. 
- Dakotah Larson finsihed the meet with a final of 186, tying for 31st. Outscoring multiple GPAC competition.
 
Battle at the Dance, marks 3 weeks in a row where a Tiger has placed 1st overall. 
 
Tigers Look Ahead:
The women golf Tigers have found their stride at the end of the season and can feel strongly about their spring season to come in 2025.
