Boulder City, Nev. – The Tigers women's golf team competed in their first spring torunament at the Boulder Creek Golf Club golf course to compete in the Spring 2025 Jackrabbit Invitational. A two day tournament that was hosted by South Dakota State, including 54 holes and three rounds. There were 15 other teams, most division one, North Dakota State, Omaha, Creighton, Western Illinois, and more.
Individual Highlights:
- Allison Meyerink led the Tigers with a final score of 245. Tying for 71st. She scored 80 in round 1, 84 in round 2, and 81 in round 3.
- Sara Sudenga came in 88th place overall. Scoring a 90 in round 1 and 85 in the final two rounds.
- Kaylee Johnson was the next Tiger to finish placing 89th. Johnson scored a 90, 88, and 100 for all three rounds. Totaling her score to 278.
- Kelsey Morrison placed 90th. Posting scores of 100, 91, and 93. A combined total of 284.
- Ashton Austreim came in 91st overall with a final score of 287. In round sh1e scored a 98 and in round 2 she scored a 82. Austreim finished strong on her day two as she scored 92.
- Dakotah Larson rounded out the team with a combined score of 308. Scoring 101, 106, and 101 in each round.
Women's golf finished a score of 1070 to finish off their first meet of the year. In round one they scored 358. Round 2 score was 358. In round 3 the score was 358. As they gain expereince against a series of division one teams they look ahead to prepare for their next tournament.

Women's golf next tournament will be in Sioux City, Iowa hosted by Briar Cliff University. They will play at the Green Valley golf course for 54 holes, in the Briar Cliff Match Play.
