SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – The Dakota Wesleyan University women's volleyball team was left searching for answers as No. 10 Dordt College defeated the Tigers in three sets in a Great Plains Athletic Conference match Wednesday in Sioux Center, Iowa.
Set scores were 25-13, 25-14, and 25-16 in favor of Dordt.
Dana Misiaszek (Mitchell, S.D.) led the Tiger attack with nine kills and nine digs, just shy of a double-double. Freshman Rebecca Frick (Yankton, S.D.) pitched in six kills and four digs, while Lauren Tadlock (Rapid City, S.D.) added five kills and seven digs in the loss. Senior Taylor Spence (North Branch, Minn.) recorded eight digs.
The Tigers (16-11, 3-9 GPAC) competes in the Concordia Triangular, taking on Central Christian College at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Seward, Neb.
