Jamestown, N.D. - DWU sophomore Caley Murphy recently competed in her second 6K of the season. Although the outcome of the race didn't fully reflect her capabilities, it serves as a vital stepping stone for her development. Coach Chase shared his confidence in her abilities, stating, "Caley's race didn't show how fit she really is. She's been solid in practice recently, and I know she's going to prove that in competition in the future."
 
Despite not achieving the result she hoped for, Murphy's determination and strong work ethic have been evident throughout her training. Coach Chase noted her consistent progress, indicating that her practice performances suggest she has much more to offer as the season continues. This race experience will be crucial for her as she continues to build on her strategies.
