Tigers sit in third place at GPAC Fall Qualifier
VERMILLION, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team is currently in third place after two rounds of the Great Plains Athletic Conference Fall Qualifier on Monday at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D.
VERMILLION, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women's golf team is currently in third place after two rounds of the Great Plains Athletic Conference Fall Qualifier on Monday at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D.
As a team, the Tigers shot a 341 in the first round and a 344 in the second round to be placed in third place after the GPAC Fall Qualifier. The conference champion will be crowned in the spring after the GPAC Spring Qualifier at Bent Tree Golf Club in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) and Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) sit tied for 11th after both finishing with a two-round total of 168.
Ronae Klein (Winner, S.D.) is tied for 18th after a total of 173, while Jordan Glanzer (Howard, S.D.) is tied for 31st following a second-round total of 90. Ashley Zimmer (Mitchell, S.D.) rounds out the Tiger five as she is tied for 34th after carding a 92 in the second round.
DWU finishes the fall season at the Lindenwood Belleville Invitational at the Stonewolf Golf Club in Fairview Heights, Ill.
