Doane cruises to three straight over DWU

CRETE, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team headed south for the weekend, dropping a Great Plains Athletic Conference match up to No. 17 Doane University in three sets on Saturday in Crete, Neb.
Doane ran away with set one, 25-9, but DWU held strong in set two despite the home team winning 25-18. In set three, Doane cruised to a 25-12 victory on its home court.
Senior Dana Misiaszek (Mitchell, S.D.) led the Tiger attack with six kills and nine digs. Lauren Tadlock (Rapid City, S.D.) added five kills and 10 digs, while Michelle Van Epps (Lakefield, Minn.) chipped in 13 assists and seven digs.
The Tigers (12-7, 2-5 GPAC) visit Briar Cliff University for a GPAC contest at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Sioux City, Iowa.
