DWIGHT AND ELSE EARN GPAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK HONORS AFTER TWO MAJOR WINS
Sioux City, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are proud to announce the following Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played October 3-9, 2022. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2022-2023 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.

Attacker – Ady Dwight, Dakota Wesleyan University (Middle)
Ady Dwight of the Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Dwight, a junior, from Langford, South Dakota, was a critical part of the No. 15-ranked Tigers collecting three wins last week. The Tigers picked up a pair of sweeps over Presentation on the road and No. 6 Concordia. Dwight, who leads the nation in kills per set, posted an average of 4.90 kills in ten total sets played while hitting .346 on the week. She was also big on the defensive front for Dakota Wesleyan, posting 10 of her 17 total blocks in the upset win against No. 3 Midland on Friday night.
Setter- Madeline Else, Dakota Wesleyan University
Madeline Else of Dakota Wesleyan University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Setter-of-the-Week. Else, a senior from Holstein, Iowa, posted 119 assists in 10 sets played last week. In a sweep over the Presentation in non-conference action, she posted 43 assists to break the 3,000 career assists. Else, who leads the nation in assists per set, also contributed on the defensive side of things, posting nine total blocks; five of which came against the upset win against No. 3 Midland.
