Six Tigers earn All-GPAC accolades as DeMers collects All-GPAC Second Team honors
MITCHELL, S.D. – Under the direction of first-year head coach Charlie Dubanoski, six members of the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball program were selected to the 2021 All-GPAC Team according to the Great Plains Athletic Conference. Drew DeMers (Winner, S.D.) highlighted the all-conference selections for Dakota Wesleyan as he was tabbed to the All-GPAC Second Team while five other Tigers were allocated with All-GPAC Honorable Mention status including Cameron Quigley (Newcastle, Wyo.), Jared Jones (Edmond, Okla.), Daulton Wilcoxen (Council Bluffs, Iowa), Luke LeMay (St. Paul, Minn.) and Ethan Davis (Billings, Mont.).

ABERDEEN, S.D.– Stepping out of conference action for the final time of the season, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball squad took on Presentation College for a pair of games. DWU took the opening game 18-1, but dropped the second game 14-6 on Tuesday in Aberdeen, S.D.

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Two days after dropping a pair of games to Northwestern College, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team split its Saturday twin bill with the Raiders. DWU dropped the first game after a 9-2 decision, but came back and took the second game of the day with a 14-4 victory in Orange City, Iowa.

MITCHELL, S.D. – In their first home series in roughly 700 days, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team racked up 21 runs on 25 hits to race past conference foe Midland University in Great Plains Athletic Conference play. Dakota Wesleyan earned a 10-5 victory in the first game and completed the sweep with an 11-3 win in the second game on Sunday from Cadwell Park in Mitchell.

YANKTON, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team split its doubleheader showdown with Morningside College, picking up their first Great Plains Athletic Conference win of the season. DWU downed Morningside 5-2 in the first game and came up just short in the second game, losing 6-4 on Saturday in Yankton, S.D.

DWU stumbled to a 5-3 defeat in the first game followed by a heart wrenching 4-3 loss in game two.

SIOUX CITY, Iowa – In the Great Plains Athletic Conference opener, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team took on Dordt University. Despite a 5-1 record in neutral-site games entering the day, DWU dropped both games by scores of 5-2 and 10-6 on Friday at Bishop Mueller Field in Sioux City, Iowa.

CRETE, Neb. – In its fifth and sixth games in three days, the Dakota Wesleyan University baseball team battled William Penn University for a doubleheader. DWU came away with a 2-0 victory in game one but dropped a 4-3 decision in game two on Monday in Crete, Neb.
