Tigers to host annual scrimmage Saturday, Aug. 23
MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University football team will host its annual fall scrimmage starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the practice field south of Joe Quintal Field. DWU TeamMakers are hosting a tailgate for Tiger family, friends and supporters in the parking lot starting at 9:30 a.m.
MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University football team will host its annual fall scrimmage starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the practice field south of Joe Quintal Field. DWU TeamMakers are hosting a tailgate for Tiger family, friends and supporters in the parking lot starting at 9:30 a.m.
Fans will get their first look at the 2014 DWU football team, and then everyone is invited to stick around for the post-scrimmage meal, hosted by the DWU TeamMakers.
The meal will start at around 11:30 a.m., and will be served at the parking lot southwest of Joe Quintal Field and everyone is welcome to partake in the meal, mingle and meet this year's football team. All family, friends and supporters of Dakota Wesleyan football are invited and encouraged to attend.
The Tigers open the 2014 season in a rematch of their 2013 opener against the University of Wisconsin-South – an NCAA Division III program – at 1 p.m. Saturday Sept. 6 at Joe Quintal Field.
