Bio

General: The Rapid City, S.D., native enters his junior campaign with the Tigers.

Junior (2021-22): Posting a strong third season with the Tigers and a total count of 1,247 strokes… Phares shot his lowest of the season with a 69 at the Mount Marty Invitational in the fall helping DWU grab first-place as a team… after more ups and downs throughout the spring, he settled into a GPAC Championship total of 234 strokes taking 32nd-place at the conclusion.

Sophomore (2020-21): Saw action in seven tournaments … carded an average stroke of 80.9 … competed in both rounds of the 2020 GPAC Fall Qualifier … lowest round of the season was a 70(-2) at the Northwest Iowa National Invite.

High School: Placed first in Brookings and Sturgis Invitational … Placed third in the Huron Invitational … team state runner-up member two years in a row … honored as the golf team captain his senior year … National Honor Society inductee.
