DAILEY HIGHLIGHTS TIGER MEN'S GOLF IN THE SIOUXLAND INVITE
Orange City, Iowa – Dakota Wesleyan men's golf places 12th after three rounds of golf. The Tigers played two rounds yesterday on The Ridge Golf Course before playing one round today at the Landsmeer Golf Club.
How it happened
Max Dailey was the top placer for the Tigers as he finished tied for 42nd. Dailey shot eight over par in the first round, before carding a ten over par on the second round of day one. On day two at Landsmeer Golf Club, he shot a 68 posting a pair of shots that were eagle or better on holes three and 15. Dailey also tallied one birdie with several par shots. Peyton Bettcher and Macon Larson were both tied for 46th place after the final score card was handed in. Bettcher was strong on the opening round yesterday, posting a pair of birdie shots followed by 12 par shots. He also carded four shots that were bogey or worse. Larson, had a strong showing on the course the first day at The Ridge, snagging a trio of birdie shots with a handful of bogey or worse shots. Payton Phares wrapped up the tournament tied for 69th place after shooting an 85, 77, and 85 between the three rounds. Cody Cavanaugh was also tied for 69th place after the two-day three round tournament with an overall score of 247. Micah Dohrer grabbed a two-way tie for 72nd place after three rounds shooting a combined 248.

Tiger men's golf heads to Kansas Wesleyan University for the Central Plains Invitational. The Tigers will tee off in a two-day invitational starting on September 25.
