Assistant Coach Roger Malonda Thoughts:
" I think it was a solid day, it was a great preview as we prepare for conference. We kept the momentum going from Dakota State and took down some teams that were previously receiving votes in the national poll. The times were promising for running at one of the toughest courses in the country. Very solid racing from Wyatt Baldauf again, and the back three did the job of staying close and finding each other in the later half of the race. Justin Sorenson finished well and continues to get stronger as he begins to make a push to help us come conference time. Different situations for Annika since it was a 6k and racing an unfamiliar distance. I think it was a good challenge as we start to prepare for the conference meet."
Head Coach Matt Rosado Quote:
"The momentum this team is creating towards the conference meet is exciting. This is some of the best racing this program has seen in a team collective. We have another big race in a few weeks in Michigan, by then we could be firing on all cylinders."
