Panec, Tibbs and Rogers place in top 20

YANKTON, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Mount Marty College Invite on Saturday and notched three top-20 finishes in Yankton, S.D.
Senior Jeremiah Panec (Kenesaw, Neb.) finished with a third-place finish for the men with a time of 26:10.6. Fellow senior Lane Tibbs (Kenesaw, Neb.) secured 12th place among 104 runners in 27:20. Bryce Blank (Rapid City, S.D.) added a 49th-place finish, Rex Schlicht (Woonsocket, S.D.) finished in 51st and freshman Brendan Langbehn (Worthing, S.D.) added a 72nd-place finish.
For the women, McKenna Rogers (Saint Michael, Minn.) notched a 14th-place finish in 20:15.3, while Kelsie King (Mission Viejo, Calif.) added a 37th-place finish with a time of 21:29.8. Morgan Aughenbaugh (Huron, S.D.) finished in 62nd, Savannah Schmidt (Plankinton, S.D.) came in 66th and Macey Bohl (Garretson, S.D.) added a 70th-place finish.
The Tigers are back in action at the GPAC Championships on Nov. 4 in Sioux Center, Iowa.
