Frick named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Team
MITCHELL, S.D. – Senior Rebecca Frick (Yankton, S.D.) completed her volleyball career earlier this month, but the awards continue to roll in as she was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 3 First Team.
MITCHELL, S.D. – Senior Rebecca Frick (Yankton, S.D.) completed her volleyball career earlier this month, but the awards continue to roll in as she was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District 3 First Team.
The district includes a first team with 10 members and a second team with 11 members. Frick, along with Allison Kuenle of Doane University were the lone Great Plains Athletic Conference members to be named to the District 3 First Team.
Frick finished second in program history on the all-time kills list with 1,750 career kills. She also amassed 1,465 digs in her career, good for eighth in program history. She also finished the season ranked third in the NAIA with 540 kills on the season and ranked fifth nationally with 4.6 kills per set.
The Yankton, S.D., native is eligible for consideration for the CoSIDA Academic All-American awards, which will be announced on Dec. 12.
