TIGERS COME UP SHORT IN REVENGE MATCH AGAINST D2 COUGARS, LOSE 24-20
Sioux Falls, S.D. –
The Dakota Wesleyan women's wrestling team had a shot at redemption against the Cougars of the University of Sioux Falls but lost 24-20. The Tigers hosted USF earlier in the season in the first ever collegiate women's wrestling dual in the state of South Dakota and the Tigers fell 39 to 10. Isabella Camarillo, Hallie Stone, and Olivia Smith pinned their opponents get the Tigers on the board. After USF forfeited the 170 class and gave Cayley Maynard the win, the Tigers were leading 20-19 but a DWU forfeit game the Cougars the win.

The Tigers saw big performances from Isabelle Camarillo and Hallie Stone, getting two big pins in the 136 and 143 weight class. The Tigers would fin four straight with three pins and one forfeit.
