Women’s golf takes fourth place over weekend
YANKTON S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women’ s golf team began its’ 2019 season with a fourth and seventh place finish at the Mount Marty Invitational on Thursday and Friday in Yankton, S.D.
YANKTON S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women' s golf team began its' 2019 season with a fourth and seventh place finish at the Mount Marty Invitational on Thursday and Friday in Yankton, S.D.
The varsity squad took fourth with a two-day total of 710, while the junior varsity team finished in seventh place after carding a total of 737.
Kaitlyn Greenhoff (Dell Rapids, S.D.) led the Tigers with a ninth-place finish after tallying an 87 on day one and an 86 on day two.
Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) and Ronae Klein (Winner, S.D.) tied for 15th with each other with a score of 176. Ashley Zimmer (Mitchell, S.D.) rounded out the top-20 scorers for DWU as she took 19th and a two-round total of 179.
The women hit the course again at the College of Saint Mary Invitational on Wednesday in Omaha, Neb.
