DAKOTA WESLEYAN WOMEN’S GOLF HIGHLIGHTED BY HINKER AND MONCUR
Salina, Kan. – Dakota Wesleyan women's golf played a pair of tough rounds on a tough course in Kansas yesterday and today. Combined, the ladies shot a 338 on day one, then a 336 on day two for a total of 674.
How it Happened
Megan Hinker led the way for the Tigers, turning in a scorecard that was good enough to tie for fourth place. On day one, Hinker carded an 82, only to turn it around on day two shooting a 77. Overall, Hinker was 15 over par with a 159. Erin Moncur also had a strong performance between the two days, posting an 82 on the first round, before cutting a stroke off for an 81 the second round. Overall, Moncur was 19 over par for a total of 163. Kaylee Johnson wrapped up her tournament tied for 27th place after shooting an 88 on day one then an 86 on day two. Ashton Austreim finished in 34th place after shooting a 178. Becky Koepke posted a scorecard with a 182, placing her 37th overall.

Tiger women's golf is looking at a week before their next tournament when they head just down the interstate to play in the University of Sioux Falls Invite. The DWU and Mount Marty duel is still being decided by the two coaching staffs at each respective school on whether it will be played or not.
