Track & Field complete busy weekend

At the Drake Relays, Tyson Jenkins (Clark, S.D.) finished with a mark of 53-6.5 feet in the shot put, good for 19th place and an automatic qualifying mark into the NAIA national outdoor meet. Jared Rabenberg (Britton, S.D.) competed in the high jump and came in 13th with a leap of 6-8, hitting a provisional qualifying mark.
At the Concordia Blizzard Buster, Tyler Larson (Mitchell, S.D.) took sixth place in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.84 seconds. Matthew Campbell (Gregory, S.D.) tallied a second-place finish in the shot put with a toss of 51-5.5. Calob Jones (Aberdeen, S.D.) took seventh with a throw of 48-6.75, as Caden Milmine (Buffalo, Wyo.) took eighth with a mark of 45-3.75.
Campbell also took third in the discus following a mark of 152-00 and took sixth in the hammer throw as he finished with a mark of 172-10. Michael Brastrup (Sheridan, Wyo.) took sixth in the javelin throw thanks to a throw of 119-09.
In the women's shot put, Madison Witte (Huron, S.D.) took 12th with a toss of 39-7, while Mikaela Stofferahn (Dell Rapids, S.D.) took fourth in the discus after a throw of 150-06.
Both teams return to action at the GPAC Championships on Friday and Saturday from Yankton, S.D.
