How It Happened
Game 1
Seth Christiansen and Diego Jirau got the Tigers off to a good start in game one of the regular season finale as Christiansen singled up the middle with two outs being the first runner aboard for DWU. The Tigers first base runner of the game was there very long as Jirau stepped up and went to right field and over the wall for a two-run home run to take the lead right away. The 2-0 DWU lead was quickly cut in half in the bottom of the inning as UJ also hit a home run, cutting the margin in half to 2-1. DWU and the Jimmies both made quick work of the respective offenses in the second inning, before the Tigers stranded a pair of base runners in the third. Jamestown was able to take the 3-2 lead in the bottom of the third after a solo home run and a DWU error. After allowing one more long shot in the fifth inning, DWU picked up a single run in the sixth on a sac fly from Wyatt Hunt, cutting the margin back to 4-3. Caleb Meyers at bat in the seventh tied the game at 4-4 with a long shot of his own to center field, but the Jimmies came up with the win on an RBI single to left in the bottom of the seventh.
Christiansen tossed six innings throwing 100 pitches and facing 24 batters. He allowed six hits, four runs, one walk, and three home runs: while striking out seven. Troy Wilhelm was credited with the loss tossing just 0.1 innings with 11 pitches and three batters faced.

The Tigers struggled to find runs in game two of the day, after falling behind 10-0 heading into the top of the fourth, Caleb Crist sent a long shot over the wall for a two-run home run making them the only runs DWU grabbed in game two.
Alexander Mizak was credited with the loss after tossing two frames and allowing four hits, five runs, two walks, and two home runs: while striking out a pair of batters. Landon Waddell came in for 0.2 innings allowing one hit, five runs, four earned, and walking five batters. Presten Riddle threw one and one-thirds inning allowing three hits; and Logan David threw two frames allowing three hits and two runs.
