Seven Tigers named to All-GPAC Track and Field Team
MITCHELL, S.D. – Less than a week after the Great Plains Athletic Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships took place in Mitchell, seven members of the Dakota Wesleyan University track and field teams were tabbed to the All-GPAC Team, it was announced by the conference Thursday.

In order to qualify for the All-GPAC Team, an individual must place in the top eight of their specific event. Members include Jared Rabenberg (Britton, S.D.), Lydia Gerber (Canton, S.D.), Claire Stoller (Madison, S.D.), Lia Guigui (Rapid City, S.D.), Dawson Kerzman (Dell Rapids, S.D.), Caden Milmine (Buffalo, Wyo.) and Rex Schlicht (Woonsocket, S.D.).
Rabenberg qualified for the All-GPAC Team following his facility record-breaking performance in the high jump. He secured a jump of 6-9.5 feet (2.07 meters), which was good for first place in the event.
Gerber is a two-time All-GPAC Team member after taking second in the triple jump and fourth in the 60-meter dash. She hit a 'B' standard in the triple jump with a leap of 36-10.5 feet (11.24 meters) and finished the 60-meter dash in 7.91 seconds.
Stoller also hit a national 'B' standard in the triple jump as she took third in the event with a mark of 36-7 feet (11.15 meters). Guigui competed in the high jump as she took fourth place with a jump of 5-1 feet (1.55 meters).
Schlicht secured a spot on the All-GPAC Team with a sixth-place finish in the 600-meter run. He finished with a time of 1:26.12 minutes.
Milmine tallied a seventh-place finish in the shot put with a toss of 48-4 feet (14.73 meters), while Kerzman took eighth in the weight throw following a mark of 52-8.75 feet (16.07 meters).
Rabenberg, Gerber and Stoller compete at the NAIA Track and Field National Championships on March 5-7 in Brookings, S.D.
