Lamer secures second national title, Tigers finish historic year
GULF SHORES, Ala. – After becoming the first national champion in Dakota Wesleyan University Track & Field history in the indoor season, senior Kamberlyn Lamer (Hartford, S.D.) made history again as she won another national championship in the heptathlon at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala.

MITCHELL, S.D. – Following multiple appeals by Dakota Wesleyan University, the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes (NAIA) National Coordinating Committee announced Tuesday that senior Kamberlyn Lamer, of Hartford, will be allowed to compete in the heptathlon at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships.

Lamer sets GPAC record as Tigers shine at GPAC Championships
YANKTON, S.D. – It was a record-setting day for senior Kamber Lamer (Hartford, S.D.) as she broke the Great Plains Athletic Conference record for the heptathlon and was named the GPAC Women's Field Athlete of the Meet. The senior finished the event with 5,017 points at the GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday and Saturday in Yankton, S.D.

Changes ahead for DWU Track & Field
MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s and women’s head track & field coach Zach Lurz has resigned from his position effective June 30th. Track & Field top assistant and current head crosscountry coach Jamen Helton will be promoted as the Director of Track & Field and Cross-Country, the DWU Athletic Department announced Tuesday.
