DWU competes at Bellevue Fall Invite
BELLEVUE, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team competed at the Bellevue University Fall Invite on Monday and Tuesday in Bellevue, Neb., and finished with a fourth-place finish.
BELLEVUE, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University women's golf team competed at the Bellevue University Fall Invite on Monday and Tuesday in Bellevue, Neb., and finished with a fourth-place finish.
Freshman Jade Burr (Belle Fourche, S.D.) led the charge for DWU as she finished with an 89 on day one and an 81 on day two as she finished with an 11th-place finish. Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) came in 14th as she carded a two-day total of 176.
Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) tied for 15th after carding a 179 through the two days, while Ronae Klein (Winner, S.D.) grabbed 18th after carding a 182. Niki Nelson (Platte, S.D.) finished tied for 19th after notching a 184 through the invite.
The Tigers begin the Great Plains Athletic Conference Fall Qualifier on Monday and Tuesday at The Bluffs Golf Course in Vermillion, S.D.
