Women’s golf battles at Dordt Spring Invite
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa – The Dakota Wesleyan University women’s golf team brought two teams that competed in the Dordt Spring Invite at The Ridge Golf Course on Thursday and Friday in Sioux Center, Iowa. The DWU blue team placed fourth, while DWU white team finished in seventh place.

For the Dakota Wesleyan blue team, Jade Burr (Belle Fourche, S.D.) led the way carding a two-round total of 157 and tied for ninth place. Burr kicked off the Invite shooting a 77 in the first round. Megan Hinker (Lennox, S.D.) finished with a 161 after shooting a 75 in the second round. Niki Nelson (Platte, S.D.) finished in 19th place after a two-day total of 163, while Jayden Bormann (Parkston, S.D.) carded a 168 and Kaitlyn Greenhoff (Dell Rapids, S.D.) tallied a 174.
For the Dakota Wesleyan white team, Brooke Ehlers (Worthing, S.D.) finished tied for 26th with a 173. Ashley Zimmer (Mitchell, S.D.) carded a two-day total of 176. Jordan Glanzer (Howard, S.D.) notched a two-round score of 182, while Cassidy Gosmire (Canova, S.D.) carded a 196 and Emily Sharkey (Upton, Wyo.) tallied a two-day score of 201.
The Tigers will play in the GPAC Championships on Friday and Saturday at the York Country Club in York, Neb.
