MITCHELL, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer Head Coach Clay Glasgow is looking to bring in a second straight strong recruiting class with the addition of another top-level athlete from the stat of South Dakota.
Rapid City, S.D., native Kaylynn Anziano recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Tigers in 2016, it was announced by Glasgow Friday. Anziano, who will also compete in track and field at DWU, brings the Class of 2016 to four members and is the first for Glasgow outside of the Sioux Falls, S.D., area.
"Kaylyn is my first recruit from Rapid City and I'm super excited that she chose Dakota Wesleyan University to continue her education," Glasgow said. "Kaylyn will definitely bring some athleticism to our team. What I truly love about Kaylyn is her ability to connect with people and her willingness to compete. What a great addition for Dakota Wesleyan University and our soccer program."
Anziano, 5-foot-5, gives DWU another defender on the back line to help replace the loss of two starting seniors. She played high school soccer for four years, earning four varsity letters and starting three seasons.
