MCPHERSON, Kan. – Despite five shots on goal, the Dakota Wesleyan University women's soccer team fell short to Central Christian College by the final of 3-0 Saturday in McPherson, Kan.
CCC scored two goals in the first period and its final goal in the second.
Freshman Alyssa Weidler (Sioux Falls, S.D.) recorded four shots on goal, while Jocelyn Behm (Sioux Falls, S.D.) added a shot on goal in the loss
Senior Kira Miller (Rock Springs, Wyo.) tallied seven saves in the net.
The Tigers (0-3) welcome Black Hills State University to the Pepsi-Cola Soccer Complex at 6 p.m. Wednesday in Mitchell, S.D.
