"I am really excited about these six young and empowered women who will have a great impact on our culture. This recruiting class had to overcome a lot of challenges. Nevertheless, I know this group is very eager to win, learn and most importantly partake in a lifestyle of service."

Deja Daniels, 5-1, Midfield, Bennington, Neb.;
Glasgow on Daniels
"Deja is a rock-solid center back, however if needed she can play in the midfield as well. She is assertive and great in 1v1 situations. Deja is always looking for the next challenge and is not afraid to show the physical side of the game for which I absolutely love. Her defensive shape and ability to stay organized will be huge for us in transition. She adds depth to our defense and midfield and we are very excited that Deja is a Tiger."
High School: A four-year starter and letterwinner on the pitch at Bennington High School, Daniels received a pair of All-EMC accolades as a freshman and sophomore. At the conclusion of her junior campaign, Daniels was tabbed as an All-State Honorable Mention selection by both the Omaha World and Lincoln Star Journal. In 2019, she helped her club team to a runner-up finish at the 2019 MPA Blue U-19 Nebraska State Cup.
Personal: A native of Bennington, Neb., Daniels is the daughter of James Daniels and Wendy Heye. She plans to major in psychology while at Dakota Wesleyan.
Isabella Gregg, 5-5, Goalkeeper, Moreno Valley, Calif.;
Glasgow on Gregg
"To be honest, I was a bit concerned when Isabella came on her visit last winter, as it was the coldest week of the year. A goalkeeper from Moreno Valley, Calif., what impresses me most about Isabella is her ability to play out of the back and start the attack. She is very technical and extremely comfortable with the ball at her feet. She is a great communicator and will offer balance and stability to our game. Thank goodness that the weather was not a factor towards her decision."
High School: One of two new goalkeepers set to join the DWU roster this coming fall, Gregg arrives having logged over 1,800 minutes in goal during her high-school prep career. She recorded eight shutouts as a junior at Valley View High School and was named a Beaumont Cup Finalist in 2019. A three-time All-Conference performer, Gregg was a Second Team All-League selection as a sophomore and junior and concluded her senior season with First Team Honorable Mention All-Conference accolades.
Personal: A native of Moreno Valley, Calif., Gregg is the daughter of David and Jettamarie Gregg. She plans to major in criminal justice and psychology.
Madison Jenny, 5-4, Forward, Columbus, Neb.;
Glasgow on Jenny
"Madison is very technical and is a player that will have an immediate impact offensively for us. Her ability to create space for herself or her teammates is amazing. She is prolific on the attack and is an offensive-minded player that will score a lot of goals for us. Madison is great at finding space between the opponent's backline and midfield. She enjoys taking on defenders in 1v1 situations and is excellent at combining with her teammates. Lastly, Madison possesses a wonderful personality and has a very positive outlook on life. We are thrilled for all the wonderful things Madison will bring to our attack."
High School: Jenny helped lead Columbus High School to a 10-5 record in 2020 and ended her high-school prep career with 18 goals and nine assists. She broke the program record for assists in a match with three assists in a game and was named an All-Conference performer. A four-year participant and three-year starter on the pitch, Jenny also competed for Nebraska Select.
Personal: A native of Columbus, Neb., Jenny is the daughter of Mike and Amy Jenny and her major is currently undecided.
Alexis Thompson, 5-2, Defender, Sumner, Wash.;
Glasgow on Thompson
"Alexis certainly brings experience to our team and her ability to use her left foot profoundly and join the attack as an outside back is quite enjoyable to watch. She will be a great addition here at Dakota Wesleyan University and especially to our soccer program. At the end of the day, we cannot wait for Alexis to establish her dominance in the conference."
High School: Thompson commits to the Blue and Gray as the only non-freshman in this year's recruiting class following stops at both Pierce College and Centralia College. She was an All-NWAC Academic performer for the Blazers of Centralia College. During her prep career at Sumner High School, Thompson was a member of the Mt. Rainier Futbol Club.
Personal: A native of Sumner, Wash., Thompson is the daughter of Cory and Andrea Thompson. She will continue to pursue a degree in business while at Dakota Wesleyan.
Hannah Trumbull, 5-6, Goalkeeper, Casper, Wyo.;
Glasgow on Trumbull
"Hannah plays with a lot of confidence and has a great personality. Her ability to read the game and play off her line is remarkable. She is outstanding when dealing with situations coming from the wider areas of the field. I admire her ability as a quality shot blocker and I am equally impressed with her awareness to look for opportunities to start the counterattack. I see Hannah competing for playing opportunities immediately and I am excited to see her progress throughout her career at Dakota Wesleyan University."
High School: Alongside Gregg, Trumbull adds talent and experience at the goalkeeper position after starting every match at Natrona County High School during her prep career. She held the best goal-to-save ratio in Wyoming as a sophomore and recorded 165 saves in 2019. The four-year varsity letterwinner and team captain finished her career with 337 total saves and was also a member of Wyoming 307 Select.
Personal: A native of Casper, Wyo., Trumbull is the daughter of William and Christine Trumbull. She plans to major in athletic training while at Dakota Wesleyan.
Isabella Veffredo, 5-7, Center Defender, Placerville, Calif.;
Glasgow on Veffredo
"Isabella is a great addition to our program and is a versatile player who loves to compete, which we truly love about her. Her work ethic is top notch and she can really cover a lot of ground, and free kicks are sensational. Goalkeepers will have a difficult task keeping her free kicks out of the goal and I truly believe that Isabella will have a great career at Dakota Wesleyan University both on and off the field."
High School: A product of Union Mine High School, Veffredo was both a team captain and All-Conference selection for the Diamondbacks. She was named as the team's Goldenboot Award winner for three consecutive seasons and finished her career as a four-year starter and letterwinner. Veffredo also competed for the USA Stars Academy helping the team to a regional championship.
Personal: A native of Placerville, Calif., Veffredo is the daughter of Tim and Denise Veffredo. She plans to major in biochemistry while at Dakota Wesleyan.
