- Dakota Wesleyan holds an 8-5-1 overall mark and a 5-3-1 record in conference action with just three regular-season matches remaining.
- For a second-straight season, and the third time under head coach Clayson Glasgow, the Tigers have amassed eight victories in a season while DWU finds itself in the middle of a tight postseason push.
- In consecutive matches, 4-or-more different Dakota Wesleyan attackers have scored goals including five separate Tigers in Saturday's 7-1 victory over Mount Marty University. Senior forward Jozy Bardsley, who surpassed 30 career goals over the weekend, recorded her first-career hat-trick versus the Lancers. Meanwhile, freshman defender Isabella Veffredo notched her first-career goal on Saturday and has appeared in eight matches for Dakota Wesleyan.
- Adding to the Tiger's offensive outburst in their last outing was fellow senior forward Alondra Partida; tying a single-match record for assists in a game with three assists. The Salinas, Calif., native leads the team with nine assists on the year thanks to five assists in her last two matches.
- Saturday's seven-goal performance marked the first time since the 2014 campaign in which DWU netted 7-or-more goals in a regular-season contest.
About the Warriors
- The Warriors possess a 9-6-0 overall record including a 6-3-0 record in the GPAC.
- Freshman forward Sydney Herren continues to energize the MID attack with four goals and one assist in 2021. The Omaha, Neb., native has made 10 starts for Midland while appearing in all 15 matches.
- Goalkeeper Mackenzie Smith retains a .857 save percentage in 15 starts this year along with seven shutouts in the net.
