Coaches Quotes—
Roger Malonda on distance:
The distance group took advantage of the fast track and environment to leave Brookings with very solid performances. Lots of big PRs, 2 school records, and another National Standard. This group keeps redefining the record books and standards of DWU. Couldn't be prouder.
Lydia Gerber & Lia GuiGui on jumps:
This weekend was a tougher one for the squad and we faced a lot of obstacles. But they fought through the pain, mentally and physically, and showed up to compete, especially in the triple jump. They emerge from this weekend better athletes and ready to attack next weekend.
Matt Rosado on sprints:
Today was one of our tougher meets for the sprinters training has been heavy and intense as we prepare for February. It started slow but after a few adjustments we reignited our drive and found the will to race hard again, these things will pay off huge for us later this season as we get ready for championship racing.
