Tigers compete at USD Twilight

Jenkins grabbed his second first-place finish of the spring season after taking first in the Red Raider Open. The senior threw a mark of 55-2.25 feet to win the competition. In the hammer throw, Jenkins placed seventh with a mark of 170-8.
In the 800-meter run, Devin Rihanek (Plankinton, S.D.) finished in sixth place with a time of 2:00.61 minutes. Calob Jones (Aberdeen, S.D.) participated in the shot put and hammer throw, taking ninth place in the shot put with a toss of 47-2.5 and 15th in the hammer throw with a mark of 136-0.
Matthew Campbell (Gregory, S.D.) tallied seventh in the discus with a toss of 152-1, while Nick Raab (Yankton, S.D.) took 13th with a mark of 125-11.
The Tigers are back in action at the Mount Marty Twilight today in Yankton, S.D.
